Methods we share
Protocols for isolating and identifying mononuclear phagocytes
The lab publishes its methods so that other groups can identify the same cells: consistent strategies for isolating macrophages, monocytes and dendritic cells from mouse and human lung and lymph nodes, standards for flow cytometry in the lung, and a video protocol for blood collection in mice. Everything on this site, including the publication database and its tags, is open on GitHub.

About the lab
At Dartmouth since 2019
Claudia Jakubzick is Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Trained with Steven Kunkel and Cory Hogaboam at Michigan and with Gwendalyn Randolph at Mount Sinai, she led her lab at National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado from 2010 before moving to Dartmouth in 2019. The lab defines the subsets of macrophages, monocytes and dendritic cells in mouse and human tissues, works out what each contributes to immunity in the lung and in tumors, and studies how natural antibodies alert the immune system to neoantigen-expressing cells.
